Determine your budget

Make an estimate of how much you can afford to spend on rent each month, taking into account your income and expenses.

Research neighborhoods

Look into different neighborhoods in Miami to find one that fits your budget and meets your needs. Consider factors such as proximity to work, schools, and amenities as well as shoping, dining and entertainment.

Make a list of your preferences

Determine what you're looking for in a rental, such as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage, and any specific amenities you want.

Look for listings

There are several places you can search for rental listings in Miami, including online websites like Zillow, Realtor.com, and Rent.com, as well as local newspapers and classifieds. You can also work with our real estate agents to help you comb through the noise and verify accuracy of listings.

Tour potential residences

Take the time to thoroughly inspect the rental during the viewing. Make sure to ask any questions you have about the rental, the building, or the neighborhood.

Apply for the rental

When you decide on the residence you want, you'll typically need to fill out an application and provide some documentation, such as proof of income and a credit check. The landlord will review your application and may ask for a security deposit and first and last month's rent.

Sign the lease

If your application is accepted, you'll need to sign a lease agreement with the landlord. Make sure to read the lease carefully and understand your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. Wether you’re new to town or trading places, rest assured you’ll feel like you’re getting an upgrade. We’ll keep in touch as your liaison with your landlord for all your property management needs.
